Heading back

Sad I couldn't upload more picture.  Technical problems.
I stopped taking may pictures anyway.  My camera skills were not good enough to capture the beauty.
But, really.  I stopped taking picture because I noticed my self not being in the moment fully.  I was just looking for a good shot to catpure the experience.  So, I just start soaking it all in.  I have a mental picture that will last as long as I will.
I head back to NY tomorrow.  I feel ok about it, because I've made the most of my time.  And I'm looking forward to more adventures back home. 

Paris

Paris!  It's such an inspiring place.
One of the things I was reminded of today, reminds me of my favorite book (The Alcemist).  "Where ever your heart is, that is where you'll find your treasure." 
The beauty of this city  and any other place I've been to seems to stem from how I feel.  You know what I mean?  There are great things everywhere you look, if you Want to see or feel them.  I'm sure I can go on for days about this, but I just wanted to share that thought.  There is beauty everywhere, we just need to see and appreciate it in our complete surroundings.
For some reason I am enjoying the simple things here in Paris.  The Musee d'Orsay is great, So is the Eiffle Tower.  But, running in Parc des Buttes Chaumont,  Writing while drinking wine outside a cafe, and walking through the residential side of Montmarte has been my favorite moments thus far.  With life, and how crazy the world can be, I have constantly been wishing and hoping to enjoy even the simplest of things.  And I am. "When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person realize his dream."

To much going on to write

     I had a great time this past weekend in Munich, Germany.  I loved it there more than I thought I would.  Meet some cool people.  I stayed up until 5am everyday.  Lots of beer and sausage.
    Now I'm in Paris.  Just got in today.  So mush to see, so much to do.  I'm here for 8 days and I get the web in the Hostel I'm staying in, so its great.  Maybe I'll write everyday.  I've never stayed in a hostel.  Lets see how it goes.  There is a club right outside my window.  I hope the ear plugs work.

Last shot for me

                   I just finished shooting today.  Some drama on the set with some extended shooting taking place tomorrow,... but I won't get into that.  I'm done.
                  Real vacation time starts now... Even though I feel like I've been on vacation this whole time.
I fly to Munich tomorrow (Friday), Monday I drive to Vienna for the day, and Tuesday night I fly to Paris.  Exciting!  Hopefully everything will run smootly.  I am apparently staying in a not so safe part of Paris.  Pray for me.
                  I joked about not coming back to the states, but I've been invited to stay in Slovenia.  I apparently can teach workshops and do commercial here without a problem.  Don't think I'm going to do that just yet, but it was a nice suggestion.
                  I miss my friends in the U.S. but I'm not home sick at all.  I thought that would pop up here in Slovenia, but it didn't.  I feel good here, even though I don't speak the language.  The younger people here are great at English.  It makes me feel like a jack-ass that I only speak one language.  Many people speak 3 or 4 languages here.
                 I know some of you have had trouble leaving comments on this blog.  I will see if there is anything I can do.  You don't have to leave comments at all, but thank you for sharing these moments with me.  It's always nice to experience new things with people and this makes me feel like I have in some ways.  So, thank you for following.  I kiss you all.

Proof read

     My second day on the set was much better.  I was a little more relaxed, and it did not go as long.  But because yesterday was so long the director treated the whole crew to a little whiskey last night.  That was nice.  Don't have much time on the computer so I have and will have some type-o's in my blogs, but I think I'm the only one who reads them anyway.  I guess it more like a journal.  Well, that's how I will use it anyway.
     I'm off to shoot for a 3rd day. 
Working on set with a kid is tough.  Tilen is his name.  He is the son of the director and Producer.  Bless his heart.  He's really good.  Better than I am.  He's only 6, I believe, and needs a lot of attention.  He's a natural though. 
     Big discovery!   Its good to go to school for acting, but we have to be trained or train ourselves NOT to act after training.  Do your research and prep... and then, just be.  Easy statement to say.  Hard action to do.

Lost internet

I'm up in the Alps of Slovenia now!  I have not  been able to write because I don't have internet in my room. Boo.  But I've discovered that I can go to the restaurant down the was and hope on.  That's where I'm at not.  I had a 14 hour shoot yesterday.  My goodness!  Its hard to stay fresh and lively when you're waiting out side that long.  This is such a great experience, but its full of surprizes.  I lost water pressure in my room for a day.  There is No laundry place near by. I never know when we are going to eat.  We had been going to a place to eat lunch/dinner as a crew for the past 2 days, but last night the brought the food to the set, and we ate amongst the multitude of flys.  OH, I can go on, but its hard to not smile when I look around and see such beautiful nature.  Anyway,time for eggs.

Top of the list

        I went to the Coast (Pizan) yesterday.  It boarders Croatia and you can take an hour boat ride across the Adriatic Sea to Venice, Itali.  So beautiful that I fogot to take pictures.  I mean I took some, but I was so in the moment I didn't think about it after awhile.  Has that ever happen to you?
        Today I went to Bled.   SO beautiful!  There is such an interesting history here and very few people know anything about it.  This country is so green.  So pretty.  Bled is the most beautiful place I've been.  I was hesitent to say that at first, but after a moment of recounting my travels.... Yep!  Top of the list!
