I have had ups and downs already, but I'm here. I've made it.
JFK to Paris: Meet a Mexican Architect who lives in Milano on the way to JFK. He told me that the best looking woman live in Slovenia. And I thought, wow, he lives in Milan and thinks that. Crazy. Five minutes later he says, "ah, I ment Slovakia." I thought that was funny, because many people in the states were not sure where Slovenia was, or confused it with some other country. Slovenia boarders Itali. Um.
Then once I got to Paris, no one knew how to direct me to my next flight to Ljubljana, Slovenia, on Adria airways. It was not a connecting flight, so I had to collect my baggage and then go through the whole process of making my flight and had 2 hours to do so. After running all over the place I finally got my ticket for Adria Airways via the Lufthansa Airlines, which I ran pass several times. Why didn't any one tell me this???
Paris to Ljubljana: Turbulence! But only an hour and forty minute flight. The country is beautiful and is almost the size of Pennsylvania maybe. And has 2 million people. I have a tour guide who is with me all the time, which is luxurious. Had a free lunch. Meet some local actors. One of them brought me drinks, and it was his birthday. That's what they do in these parts. Um. And then I had a night out at the Castle with the director and Costume designer. What a first day.
Today, I've had a costume fitting. That was work. Free after that (10 am) So far I've had breakfast at the hotel, a cappuccino and meat and cheese plate at the cities first sky scraper, bought some post cards and stamps, went to a gathering at a local actors house, taken some pictures, got some hotel supplies, wrote this blog, now I'm off to have lunch (4pm). Life is good.
Already an adventure, huh? Keep it rocking, dude!
